oh my!
only 7 days, 1 week! until i leave my little family for the mtc. i don't remember a time in my life where i have been so fearful of the unknown. however, i find comfort in the following scripture:
2 timothy 1:7.for god hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
8.be not thou therefore ashamed of the testimony of our lord ... but be thou partaker of the afflictions of the gospel according to the power of god;
9.who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in christ jesus before the world began.

you're not the only one scared out of their minds for you leaving. i don't know the world without you, my love. but i do know that washington dc is in for a delightful treat found in you. i love you sister wightman.
You're going to kick some major butt... although I don't think that's what you're supposed to do on your mission so how about you're going to convert some major butt! I believe in you and I'll see you on Sunday!
Like Paige, I think DC is in for a treat, and like Shannen, I believe in you! Keep thinking of Ellie and be excited about your next adventure!
My worry is not that you will be overcome with fear, but that you will be so overcome with love for the work, the people, the area, that you will want to return to the east for good. You will be great and you will grow and improve beyond your expectations....but not beyond mine!
Yay Sister Wightman!!!! Don't forget to give an address to write you at! I still hope to see you in DC sometime!
